"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it."   (Isaiah 55:10-11 ESV)

God's Word is always successful in accomplishing its objective. And what objective is that? Very simply it's the transformation of our lives and the building up of the Lord's church. My motivation for ministry has always been the miracle of "seeing lives change." The Word of God is what has changed and continues to change my life. My greatest desire as a Pastor/Preacher/Teacher is to see lives transformed through the hearing of the Word of God and walking in the promise of God. The Lord continually shows me that my labor is not in vain.

I am able to see the spiritual growth and maturity in our congregation. This is the goal for which I am constantly striving to reach, love God, love people. I am grateful to God for all that He has done in us and continues to do through our ministry.  

The divine prescription for the church is found in the Word of God. It is my prayer that we as a church family would continue to take, eat, and drink as prescribed by the Lord. I am truly grateful to Impact Church for being the kind of church family that every pastor would like to be a part of. You continue to be a blessing to the Ross family!

It is my prayer that we would abide in His Word and continue to bring forth fruit, more fruit, and much fruit. Thank you, Impact Church of Longview for allowing me to pastor with joy and not with grief.
